These terms govern your use of Another Session (the "Service"), a web application for solo coaches and instructors. The Service is operated by Barrie Thompson, based in United Kingdom ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms.
1. Your account
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately at hello@anothersession.app if you suspect unauthorised access.
2. What the Service does
The Service helps you manage clients, sessions, notes and payment tracking for your coaching practice. It is a record-keeping tool. It is not a payment processor, not a club back-office, and not a substitute for professional financial, tax or legal advice.
3. Subscription and pricing
Access is offered on a free plan covering up to three clients, with every feature included and no time limit. Unlimited clients are available on the Complete plan at £8, €9 or $10 per month depending on your billing currency. New accounts start with a 30-day trial of unlimited clients, with no card required. If an account holds more than three clients when the trial ends, all records remain readable, and editing requires Complete or reducing the account to three clients. Your renewal date and any active discounts are shown in your account billing area. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
Existing Founding Member accounts
Founding Member status is no longer offered. Accounts that were granted it earlier keep their locked rate of $10 per month for as long as their subscription remains active and uninterrupted. If such an account cancels and later resubscribes, the locked rate may not be available.
Insiders
Insider status is granted at our sole discretion to a small number of collaborators, advisors and early supporters. Insider accounts are complimentary for life while the Service operates and while the account remains in good standing. Insider status is non-transferable and may be revoked for breach of these terms.
Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel at any time from your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Unless required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable. UK consumers who are also acting as consumers may have a 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, exercisable by emailing hello@anothersession.app.
4. Acceptable use
- Do not use the Service for anything unlawful or harmful.
- Do not upload data you do not have the right to store.
- Do not attempt to access other users' accounts, reverse engineer the Service, or interfere with its operation.
- Do not use the Service to send unsolicited marketing to your clients.
We may suspend or close accounts that breach these rules, with or without notice depending on severity.
5. Intellectual property
Another Session and its licensors retain all intellectual property rights in the Service, including its software, original written content, designs, graphics and branding. These rights are protected by copyright and other applicable laws. Third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners.
We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose while your account is in good standing. You may not copy, modify or resell the Service, or use its designs, content or branding to build a competing product.
Your content and your clients' records remain yours. Nothing in this section changes the ownership described in the next section.
If you upload material to the Service, you confirm you own it or have permission to use it, and you are responsible for the content you store, such as client records or session notes.
If you send us feedback or ideas about the Service, you agree we may use them freely without payment or restriction.
If you believe material within the Service infringes your copyright, email hello@anothersession.app with details of the work, the material concerned and your authority to report it. We will investigate and take appropriate action.
6. Your content and your clients' data
You own the content you put into the Service, including your client records, session notes and payment information. You grant us a limited licence to host, process and back up that content solely so we can operate the Service for you. When you store personal data about your clients, we act as a data processor on your behalf. See the Data processing addendum for details.
7. Service availability
We work hard to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, third-party outages and unforeseen events may cause downtime. We will give reasonable notice of planned maintenance where we can.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, our total liability to you in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost goodwill, or lost data, except where required by law.
You are responsible for keeping your own backup of any data you consider critical.
9. Changes to the Service or these terms
We may update the Service and these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or in-product at least 14 days before taking effect. Continuing to use the Service after that date means you accept the updated terms.
10. Closing your account
You can close your account at any time by emailing hello@anothersession.app. We may close accounts that have been inactive for an extended period, that breach these terms, or where required by law. After closure we delete or anonymise account data within 90 days, subject to any legal retention requirements.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except that consumers may also bring claims in the courts of their country of residence where required by law.
