Best Yoga Teacher Software for Solo Instructors (2026)
The best yoga teacher software depends on how you earn a living: Another Session suits independent teachers who want a continuing record of private students, Momoyoga is a stronger fit for public class booking, and OfferingTree brings a website, bookings and memberships into one business system. Teachers who already work at other people's studios should not assume they need a full studio platform.
Yoga teacher software compared
If most of your week is private one-to-one teaching, the central question is whether you can find last week’s note, the next session and an outstanding payment. If you run open classes, the central question is whether students can book, pay, cancel and join a waitlist. Those are different jobs, even when both are advertised as yoga software.
All prices reflect the vendor's published pages as checked on 3 November 2026, not an estimate of your all-in bill. Countries, taxes, payment processing, features and annual terms vary. Confirm price and availability at checkout. Direct official sources appear in each review.

Match software to your teaching business
Private yoga sessions and ongoing student progress: Another Session. It centres the individual student's history and payment position, not public class sign-up.
Weekly public group classes: Momoyoga. Its timetable, booking and passes match this job more directly.
A new independent business with its own website, classes and marketing: OfferingTree. It's more complete, and more involved.
Workshops and occasional event bookings: Bookwhen. Its booking pages and ticketing fit event-led teaching.
A full schedule of classes with passes and regular memberships: Punchpass. Waitlists and standing reservations matter here.
Private appointments booked by clients: Acuity Scheduling. The booking workflow is the reason to choose it.
Yoga plus other paid wellness appointments: Vagaro. The marketplace may be useful, but check its fees.
A physical studio and team: Mindbody. Studio requirements are different from a solo teacher's.
Another Session publishes this comparison and is included in it. Competitors are credited for the features they actually provide. We researched official vendor material, not hands-on tests of every product; we have not generated numeric scores or called this an independent lab review.
What yoga teacher software should do
Keep the individual student in view
For private teaching, the next lesson depends on what happened before it. A sensible system allows you to see the previous session, the current emphasis, dates and payment position without a hunt through chats. A booking platform may have customer notes, but the existence of a notes field does not show how well it supports a year of ongoing one-to-one work.
Handle the kind of booking you actually sell
If students book open classes on a public timetable, you may need capacity limits, cancellations, passes, waitlists and email reminders. If most sessions are arranged directly with established clients, public booking may be unnecessary. Another Session does not offer public self-booking; the class-booking alternatives below do.
Make the fees understandable
The subscription is only part of the cost. Check transaction percentages, card-processing fees, class and booking limits, SMS fees, regional taxes, monthly versus annual billing and whether you must upgrade to sell packages.
Be usable between sessions
A solo teacher may move between studios, teach at homes and use a phone between classes. A lightweight system should make notes and payment status accessible quickly. Test with the actual workflow you use, not a polished demo of features that solve somebody else's problems.
Another Session: private student records
Another Session is suitable for independent yoga teachers whose main work is teaching the same people over time. Each student has a running record for sessions, notes, current focus, package balance and payments, so the record helps you remember the teaching relationship rather than only the appointment.
A private teacher might have one client at a local studio, another at the client's home and a third online. Last week’s notes and the remaining block of paid sessions are attached to the right person, even if bookings are arranged elsewhere. Another Session supports named small-group sessions too, but this should not be confused with a public timetable, drop-in ticket sales or automatic waiting lists.
Best for: One-to-one private yoga practices and small ongoing named groups.
Published price: Every feature is free for up to three clients, with no card and no time limit. Complete has unlimited clients with exactly the same features. £8/month or £80/year in the UK. Complete can also be paid yearly, which is two months free. Every account starts with 30 days of unlimited clients, no card required. The limit counts all saved client records, not only active students. If you have more than three clients when the trial ends, nothing is deleted and everything stays readable. To keep working with all of them, choose Complete. Upgrading restores full working access straight away. Another Session pricing.
Main strength: A client-centred history with session notes and payments together. A teacher can retain their own booking method.
Main weakness: No public booking page, public class capacity and waitlists, studio staffing, full financial accounting or yoga sequence-builder. Do not select it for these requirements.
Verdict: A focused alternative to studio platforms when you mostly teach regular people, rather than sell seats in an open room. Yoga teacher product page.

Momoyoga: public class booking
Momoyoga is better suited than Another Session when students need to book into classes, pay online and use class passes. Its tools address yoga classes and events directly, including a student-facing experience. It is a natural option for teachers who rent space and sell places in weekly classes.
Best for: Regular group classes, workshops and students booking themselves.
Published price: Free plan, with a 5% platform fee on every online payment in addition to processor fees; paid Standard listed at €34/month billed annually in the published EUR display. Momoyoga also offers Plus. It bills locally in some markets, so the actual UK price should be checked in the account. Vendor pricing and support note on billing and plans.
Main strength: Native class enrolment and pass sales rather than a workaround using appointments.
Main weakness: Free-plan payment fees can accumulate; not every class-booking workflow provides the same detailed individual teaching history as a dedicated client record.
Verdict: Probably a better first choice than Another Session if your main problem is selling public class places.
OfferingTree: website and class sales
OfferingTree is a strong fit for a solo yoga teacher who wants to launch a website and sell bookings, memberships, courses and online material in one place. It is considerably more than a calendar, and that additional scope can be helpful when you own the student-acquisition and sales process.
Best for: Independent instructors growing a branded teaching business and selling their own classes or programmes.
Published price: Essentials $26/month with annual billing, or $35/month when billed monthly. Essentials adds a 2.9% platform transaction fee plus processing fees. Pro is $49/month annual equivalent or $59/month paid monthly; it advertises a 0% platform transaction fee, while payment-processing fees still apply. Pro includes enhanced CRM, custom fields and notes. Official individual pricing.
Main strength: Website, registrations, digital content and client communication bundled around one business.
Main weakness: Higher cost and more components than necessary if the studio already handles bookings and you only need to organise a small roster of private clients. Its Pro plan explicitly includes enhanced CRM and notes.
Verdict: Choose OfferingTree over Another Session if you need your own customer-facing sales and booking setup.
Bookwhen: classes and workshop bookings
Bookwhen is a useful option for yoga teachers who mainly need people to reserve and pay for places in classes, workshops and courses. It is event-booking software, not a purpose-built long-term private-practice record.
Best for: Ticketed workshops, courses, class registration and simple booking pages.
Published price: Free plan supports up to 50 bookings/month for free events only. Lite is listed at $16/month for up to 300 bookings/month, with payments; Standard $29/month includes features such as passes and waitlists, according to the vendor's price page. Quoted figures reflect the currency displayed in our fetch; country and annual-plan selectors may change the numbers. Official pricing.
Main strength: Sell spaces and manage attendance for events without taking on every component of a studio platform.
Main weakness: Free cannot take paid event bookings; pass and waitlist features belong to higher tiers. Not a dedicated yoga teaching-note system.
Verdict: A sensible comparison for teachers with occasional paid workshops and a straightforward class timetable.
Punchpass: class passes and memberships
Punchpass is designed around the operational rhythm of recurring classes: online reservations, passes, waitlists, attendance and memberships. It includes private-session tools too, but the bigger proposition is running a schedule of publicly offered classes.
Best for: Teachers or small studios with regular group classes, repeat customers and passes.
Published price: Grow $59/month billed monthly with class passes, private sessions, waitlists and online reservations; Flow $99/month adds recurring memberships and other features; Pro $149/month. Official pricing.
Main strength: Complete class-attendance and pass workflow rather than manually reconciling registrations.
Main weakness: Price and functionality may be excessive for a teacher whose clients simply rebook private sessions. Its customer notes are not equivalent proof of specialised one-to-one coaching continuity.
Verdict: Choose Punchpass if your class booking and membership needs justify a more substantial platform.
Acuity: appointments and intake forms
Acuity Scheduling is a booking-first choice for independent teachers who want clients to pick times and pay or complete a form at booking. It also supports connections to online meeting software for remote sessions.
Best for: Private yoga consultations and appointments where self-scheduling is the priority.
Published price: Starter $20/month billed monthly, or $16/month equivalent billed annually; Standard $34/month billed monthly, or $27/month equivalent annually. Appointment packages require Standard, which is essential to check if you sell blocks of private lessons. Official plan and feature comparison.
Main strength: A mature appointment-booking and reminder workflow, including intake forms.
Main weakness: Scheduling is the centre of the product. Do not assume that it offers the same style of client-by-client lesson narrative as Another Session.
Verdict: Choose Acuity when online appointment booking matters more than a dedicated ongoing teaching record.
Vagaro: wider wellness services
Vagaro combines appointment booking, client information, payment tools, memberships and marketplace exposure. That may suit a yoga teacher who also offers other wellness services or wants a customer-facing booking presence.
Best for: Independent wellness operators with bookable services and ambitions beyond private yoga lessons.
Published price: The UK pricing page displayed £20/month for one bookable calendar as a promotional price (with £30 also shown). Confirm the current checkout rate, offer terms and any added costs before buying. We could not verify a marketplace commission from the official material reviewed.
Main strength: A wide range of booking, marketing and customer-management features with a consumer marketplace.
Main weakness: You are buying a broader wellness-business platform and should inspect which marketplace, marketing or payment features incur additional charges.
Verdict: Consider it when discovery and multi-service booking are central, not solely for lesson notes.
Mindbody: studio operations
Mindbody is most relevant when the business is a studio with premises, class capacity, memberships, staffing and growth plans. It is a well-known name that buyers will encounter in comparisons, but the needs it solves are often different from those of an instructor who teaches in someone else's venue.
Best for: Studio owners and growing venue-based yoga businesses.
Published price: Mindbody's business pricing page displays starting at $79 USD/month per location, with a consultation to choose a plan and confirm full costs. We could not verify the draft’s UK starting figure. This US display is not a guaranteed UK quote.
Main strength: Venue-scale booking, payments, memberships, reports and marketplace visibility.
Main weakness: More expense and administration than a solo teacher needs to store twenty students' private session history.
Verdict: A legitimate choice for the studio owner, but not a sensible default recommendation for a teacher who works across venues with a private roster.
Compare platform and payment fees
Subscription price is not the whole cost of class-booking software. For example, if a teacher takes £2,000 of eligible online payments in a month, a 5% platform fee is £100, before ordinary card-processing fees. A 2.9% platform fee on the same amount is £58, also before processing. This arithmetic illustrates how fees work; it is not a claim that two vendors' checkout terms and currencies are identical.
A lower subscription does not prove better value. If you need a public timetable and payment checkout, a dedicated booking system may be worth paying for. If you already have that part handled and mainly need to remember each private student, the larger platform could be redundant.

How we compared the eight platforms
We prioritised software that appears in real comparisons for yoga teachers and studio operators, and assessed the following: (1) suitability for a solo teacher, (2) public bookings versus private student records, (3) packages and payment workflow, (4) public pricing transparency, and (5) what job each product does not do. We checked each vendor’s own pricing and product pages on 3 November 2026. We could not verify the supplied forum citation, so it is not used as evidence here.
We deliberately do not rate every product out of ten. None of the eight was independently benchmarked through a common hands-on test. Official vendor descriptions are evidence for advertised features, not proof of reliability or support quality.
Yoga sequencing apps serve a different job
FLOW and Tummee are useful tools, but they are not substitutes for the eight business systems above. Their main job is planning what to teach, not recording bookings or collecting tuition. They are reviewed in our companion Best Apps for Yoga Teachers article.
Yoga studios need different software
If you operate a venue rather than an individual teaching practice, you'll need to evaluate public registration, room capacity, member check-in, staff access and recurring memberships. Products such as Mindbody, Punchpass, Momoyoga and OfferingTree may then make more sense. Another Session explicitly isn't a full studio system. For the distinction, read Do You Need Studio Software, or Coach Software?.
Buy for the work you actually manage
If the problem is public bookings, choose booking software; if the problem is remembering private students and what they owe, choose a student-centred record. This is the most useful distinction to make before comparing dozens of features. In a mixed practice you may need both; the aim is to avoid paying twice for the same job.
To see how Another Session approaches the client record, visit Another Session for yoga teachers. Its prices are published here. If you are looking for a broader combination of teaching, design, video and planning tools, see Best Apps for Yoga Teachers (2026).
For the business-model distinction, read studio software or coach software. For session pricing, read how to price private yoga sessions.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best software for a private yoga teacher?
Another Session is worth considering when you teach regular private clients and want notes, session history and payments in one record. Acuity is a stronger choice when your primary need is appointment self-booking. Both can be used alongside an existing teaching calendar, but they solve different problems.
What is the best software for yoga class bookings?
Momoyoga is yoga-specific software with public class booking and passes. Bookwhen works for class and workshop reservations. OfferingTree and Punchpass provide broader paid class and membership workflows. Another Session does not provide public class booking.
What is the difference between yoga teacher software and yoga studio software?
Yoga teacher software can focus on one instructor's students, private sessions and bookings. Studio software typically adds premises, staff, class capacities, memberships and a public timetable. Some brands serve both, but the requirements are different.
Is there free yoga teacher software?
Yes. Another Session has a permanent Free plan for up to three saved client records. Momoyoga has a free booking plan that charges a 5% platform fee on eligible online payments plus processor fees. Bookwhen's Free plan handles free events up to a booking limit, not paid class tickets. Always read what “free” covers.
Can I use Another Session to manage group yoga classes?
It can record sessions for named students, including small groups and individual histories. It does not provide open online class enrolment, public capacity management, waitlists or a venue ticketing system. Use a dedicated class-booking platform for those requirements.
Do I need Mindbody for a one-person yoga business?
Usually not if you rent studio space and mostly teach an existing roster privately. Mindbody is built around studio operations; examine smaller options such as Another Session for student history or Momoyoga for class bookings first. A solo studio owner running a substantial public timetable could still find Mindbody useful.
Can a yoga teacher use a CRM instead of booking software?
A CRM or client record can organise ongoing relationships and notes, but it does not automatically allocate spots in a class. If people need to book themselves into public sessions, you still need a booking workflow.
Does yoga teacher software include payment processing?
Some systems offer integrated payments, but fees and supported gateways vary. Another Session can track payments and request payment without replacing the teacher's existing booking platform. Momoyoga, OfferingTree, Bookwhen and several others support online payments in their booking workflows. Always check processor and platform charges separately.
What if I teach at studios but also have private clients?
Let the studio manage its own public timetable and member booking, if that is already its responsibility. Use a separate client record only for the private students you manage directly. Avoid treating a studio's attendees as your own paying clients without a clear operational and privacy basis.
What should I check before choosing software for yoga students' injury notes?
Keep only information genuinely necessary to deliver the service, apply appropriate access and privacy safeguards and check the provider's data handling. Health information can be sensitive personal data. Neither a generic notes field nor a marketing description proves that a platform is a clinical-record system.
