How much do piano lessons cost in Dubai?
Private piano lessons in Dubai usually cost about AED 200 to AED 210 for 30 minutes and about AED 300 to AED 315 for an hour, based on prices published by Dubai music schools and teachers in October 2026. Packages of lessons bring the price per lesson down.
The short answer
No official body in the UAE publishes what piano teachers charge. The figures here come from prices that Dubai music schools and teachers publish on their own websites, checked on 29 October 2026. They are a small sample, not a survey of the whole market.
30 minutes: about AED 200 to AED 210
Music Home Dubai charges AED 1,260 for six 30-minute lessons, which is AED 210 a lesson. The Musicians charges AED 205 for a single 30-minute lesson.
60 minutes: about AED 300 to AED 315
Music Home Dubai charges AED 1,890 for six one-hour lessons, which is AED 315 a lesson.
Home lessons: from about AED 200 a class
Emirates Piano, a Dubai teacher who teaches in students’ homes, lists packages at AED 200, AED 225 and AED 250 a class, for 45-minute or one-hour lessons, with the lowest price on the largest package.
Piano lesson prices in Dubai by lesson length
Music Home Dubai publishes a price for every lesson length, so it shows clearly how the price rises with time. Prices per lesson are our arithmetic from its six-lesson package.
Thirty minutes is the usual length for young children and beginners. Students preparing for graded exams, such as ABRSM or Trinity, often move to 45 or 60 minutes as their pieces get longer.

How packages change the price per lesson
Most Dubai music schools sell lessons in packages rather than one at a time. The more lessons you buy at once, the less each one costs.
The Musicians charges AED 1,599 for eight lessons, AED 3,035 for sixteen and AED 4,428 for twenty-four. Packages usually come with an expiry date. At The Musicians, eight lessons are valid for two months and twenty-four for six months, so a missed week can mean a lost lesson.

What a year of piano lessons costs in Dubai
These are our own sums, assuming 36 weekly lessons in a school year.
On top of lessons come the instrument, books and any exam entry fees, which vary too much to average.
Weekly 30-minute lessons at AED 210: AED 7,560 a year
About AED 630 a month over a twelve-month payment plan.
Weekly 60-minute lessons at AED 315: AED 11,340 a year
Typical for an older student working towards higher grades.
What changes the price
School or independent teacher
Music schools cover a studio, reception staff and a timetable. An independent teacher who travels to the student’s home covers travel time instead.
Lesson length and package size
Longer lessons cost more, and larger packages cost less per lesson, as the charts above show.
Exam preparation and experience
Teachers preparing students for graded exams, or with performance qualifications, often charge more than the figures here.
